Wow!

Now on the 17th September I blogged about how my new read would be "a Christmas to remember" but this all kind of fell through.

I have been reading raced (part of the driven series by kirsty Bromberg) and I can't help but drag the book out for as long as possible.

Driven is one of my all time favourite books of all time and I am lucky to be a member on Kirsty's driven crew on Facebook (which in itself is a huge honor but this story gets much better!)

Now a while back Kirsty posted in the group that she was looking for her favorite roses are red poems , not the soppy ones the sexy, steamy ones.

I wrote one down along with hundreds of other people and thought nothing more of it UNTIL TODAY! My poem has been used! In an actual book! I had input into one of my favourite book series of all time!

Here's the snippet from the book which includes my poem!

"He walks towards me and I can already see his mind turning, trying to match my poem "I've got one. Roses are red, violets are fine you be the six and I'll be the nine" "

And to make it even better it came out of Becks' mouth mmmmmm I mean Colton sounds hot as, but becks sounds off the scale.

If you haven't read this series yet and are looking for a book you won't be able to put down, the order of the books are listed below. I can't even remember how I came across this series but my god my life would be so empty without it!!!! I race you kirsty Bromberg, keep these books coming!!!!

A full review on raced will be coming up soon, I promise. Just had to share my little bit of news with you all 😃😃😃😃

A Christmas to remember

So I've requested a few titles to read and blog about and have been lucky enough to be selected for 3 new books.

The first one I will be reading is this book called "a Christmas to remember" by Jenny Hale.

I requested this one as I love Christmas and I love it even more now I have my children. It seems that no matter how great you thought your Christmas' were as a child. When you have your own children and you see their faces light up on Christmas morning nothing compares.

This story is described as " a beautiful story about childhood memories, the strength of family and falling in love when you least expect it." I can't wait to start this one! Will report back as soon as I have finished and review it.

In the mean time I will leave u with a copy of the cover and the blurb.

Carrie Blake loves her job as a nanny but, while her friends are settling down, all of Carrie’s spare time is spent with other people’s families. Though it breaks her heart, her New Year’s resolution is to embark on a new career and fix her love life.

As Carrie starts her last job, she’s sure she’ll be going out on a high – the house is amazing, the kids are adorable, and she’s in charge of decorating the tree!

The only problem could be her boss… single-dad Adam Fletcher might be both handsome and successful, but he’s always working. Doesn’t he realise he’s missing out on precious moments with his son and daughter?

As Adam’s family arrive for Christmas including his sensitive sister, Sharon, and his fun-loving elderly Grandpa, Walter, Carrie realises that she might just have found the perfect allies in her quest to persuade Adam to loosen up. There’s still time for Carrie to make this the best Christmas ever… after all, Christmas is the time for miracles, isn’t it? Let the festivities begin!

In the beginning (a little about me)

My name is Jessica, I am 27 and a mummy to 2 little ones Tyler Blake (6) and Alexis Kimberley (4)

I am an army wife who's husband is always being sent away. Whether to a war zone or to a field to camp out (I'm never jealous when this happens)

I love to read and stitch so I have created this blog to share my love for all things sparkley, mummyfied, and book related.
